OFFICE OF THE MUNICIPAL BUDGET
I. FUNCTIONAL STATEMENT
Act as one of the key office on financial management to aid the Local Chief Executive and the Legislative body in ensuring the legal and proper ways of formulation and implementation of various programs and activities of the local government.
a) To fully support the Local Chief Executive and the legislative body in the formulation and implementation of various projects and activities in the delivery of basic services and for the development of the community.
b) To adopt necessary measures to arrive at a sound financial management that is to free the LGU from surplus deficit, ensure balanced budgeting and give attention to multi-sectoral distribution.
c) To comply with various prescribed government rules and regulations regarding financial planning and execution handling government funds.
d) To incorporate in the office system the necessary internal accounting and administrative control.
