The bands and majorettes of the Partido State University (PSU), University of Northeastern Philippines (UNEP) in Iriga City, and the Mariners Polytechnic Colleges in Naga City joined the civic parade of San Jose town on Monday, May 18, 2015.

Mayor Antonio B. Chavez said that the local government unit of San Jose has prepared various colorful and exciting activities to celebrate the annual town fiesta that highlight the promotions of the local tourism industry; it would also showcase the religious, cultural, political and historical heritage sites of his town.

Aside from the three major participating bands, majorettes and DLC’s of San Jose National High School and Kinalansan National High School will also participate.

The colorful and exciting activities will be participated also by two (2) national high schools and the eight (8) barangays, namely: San Juan, San Antonio, Camagong, Mampirao, Soledad, Palale, Sta. Cruz, and Tambangan. Likewise, the competing primary schools are San Jose Central School and Salogon Elementary School. Majorettes and DLC’s of public elementary schools will also compete for the various prizes.

Meantime, the winners of the Bb. San Jose Beauty Pageant will also participate in the civic parade together with the representative schools, colleges, and universities as well as the municipal and barangay officials, staff and employees, non-government organizations (NGOs) and the personnel of the San Jose Municipal Police Station.
