Twenty-one (21) barangays of the municipality of San Jose under the administration of Mayor Antonio B. Chavez received the remaining twenty-five thousand pesos (P25,000.00) as full payment for the beneficiaries of Emergency Shelter Assistance (ESA) of the Totally Damaged Households during the Typhoon Nina given on January 5, 2018 at San Jose Sports Complex, San Jose, Camarines Sur.

The following barangays were: Adiangao (6); Bagacay (7); Bahay (3); Boclod (21); Calawit (32); Camagong (25); Danlog (31); Del Carmen (2); Kinalansan (32); Mampirao (31); Minoro (20); Palale (18); Sabang (33); San Antonio Pob (30); San Juan Pob (6); San Vicente (1); Santa Cruz Pob (13); Soledad Pob (23); Tambangan (58); Telegrafo (14); Tominawog (25).

The said fund was directly downloaded by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) to the LGU through the Office of the Municipal Treasurer headed by Mrs. Myrna C. Pacamarra.

The initial payment of the ESA for the beneficiaries of 29 barangays totally damaged households was previously released on June 28-29 and July 27-28, 2017 by the DSWD in cooperation with the Local Government Unit of San Jose.

The remaining beneficiaries who have not been included in the list are advised to wait for the next batch to be announced by the Local Chief Executive through their respective Barangay Captains.

The release was facilitated by the Municipal Vice-Mayor Virgilio E. Panuelos together with the MSWD Staff headed by Mrs. Helen J. Mendoza, Treasurer’s Office and Public Safety Office led by Mr. Elvis Dadis who supervised the safety and security of the program.
